Luxury British sport and lifestyle brand Hurlingham Polo has signed a deal with DTZ Investors to launch its flagship retail store on King Street, central Manchester.
The polo-inspired brand has taken 4,146 sq ft of space and will be operating out of number 48 King Street.
The opening of its store falls in line with its debut Autumn/Winter fashion collection for 2020 by designer Bardhyl Latifi, who has previously designed collections for Burberry and Henri Lloyd.
Tom Royston, investment manager at DTZ Investors, said: “It is really positive to see Hurlingham Polo sign a lease at King Street in what has been a turbulent time for the retail industry.
“We have been developing the King Street brand and have brought a completely unique approach to the street with our schedule of creative pop-ups, working closely with tenants and landlords to ensure a collective benefit for both.”
Hurlingham Polo will join several national brands on King Street, including luxury store The White Company, Vivienne Westwood and Jigsaw.
Tom added: “We are looking forward to welcoming Hurlingham Polo and working with them on their launch strategy.”
Simon Hawkins, Hurlingham Polo chief executive, said: “King Street is one of Manchester’s most iconic shopping districts, and so we’re very excited to be making a new home for the brand there.
